In 2022, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants
made their debuts in the Indian Premier League, bringing the total number of
IPL teams to 10.
Owned by Sanjiv Goenka of the RPSG group, the
Lucknow Super Giants play their home games at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium
in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Prior to its brief existence, the Rising Pune
Supergiant franchise belonged to the RPSG group.
